I lived in the same house, same place, in a neighborhood just outside of Atlanta and never been on an airplane until I was 22 years old. That first airplane ride, it was in Delta’s business class for a job interview with Yahoo! in Sunnyvale, California.

After Yahoo!, I went on a coast to coast road trip, then after 6 months on the road, I luckily landed a job with Zynga in San Francisco. Needless to say, it was awesome to tell people what I did for a living was making video games.

My first year at Zynga in 2009, I watched a documentary called “A Map For Saturday”. That film changed me. I decided it was time to venture beyond the US. I bought an inbound/outbound ticket to Bangkok, armed with a guide book, 1 day to plan, and no accommodations, I jumped on a plane and went.

Since then, I have traveled to over 28 countries and lived in Istanbul, Turkey and Medellin, Colombia.

I learned how hack the system where I earned over 1,000,000 airline miles legitimately, boosted my credit score, and flying around the world for (almost) free.
